I think the Dems are missing an otonrtupipy by turning more to candidates like Hillary! than to rational candidates in the mould of Gov. Warner. I probably still wouldn’t vote for him — see the recent discussion throughout the b’sphere about the “Libertarian Democrat” canard to see why not — but I think that there’s currently enough disaffection with Republicans that they would have trouble reacting to someone like Warner.
